(2010/11 Summer Collection)

10am on a Sunday morning was the time the Lilah team came together to start our first photo shoot of 2011. Although the day was overcast and the climate, muggy - I must say we managed to keep our heads held high & got a good dose of sunshine from what was yet to come.

Samantha our model did, again, another wonderful job playing fashionista. Her personal style doesn't stem too far from the brief of our photo shoot, which is evident in the confidence she expresses while wearing Lilah. I noted one of her favourite dresses to be the Lady Lace dress (on sale for $23.00) as she did take it home after the shoot. Hehe

It was such a joy to style & direct the shoot. With the help of Rob Horner (photographer), Shiela Castor (film maker) & Steven Peralta (producer).

An eight-hour day of shooting; we started at my house, taking simple pictures against the plain creme wall of my dining area (ft a soundtrack of The Temper Trap album). The afternoon was spent opposite the Sydney Harbour in a small playground. Every moment was filled with excitement and spontaneousness. I must admit, by the time it was 6pm, we did feel a few drops of precipitation, but that didn't stop us :)

A huge thank you, once again to all of the people who were involved in the photo shoot.
While going through the production process with Steven now, I cannot keep calm about the outcome of it all.
I will leave you with a few pictures from (but just a few). There are still hundreds for me to choose from for our next website layout.

We just hope that everybody enjoys them as much as we loved taking them.

A New Chapter.

Hi everyone, Annie here.
First of all I would like to say a Happy New Year to all!
2010 Has been a huge year for Lilah as it was the year we first opened & it's been such a privilege to be able to bring clothes from overseas to people who enjoy them as much as we do. To be able to do what you love is just a blessing.
I'm getting pretty exited about the year ahead of us as I get our summer stock ready for another photo-shoot, & then deliberate with Fideliz about the items we'll sell for the winter collection.

A big thank you to Rob Horner , Steven Peralta & Shiela Castor for doing such amazing photography work on our previous shoot. And of course how could I not forgot our model, Samantha East. I wish everybody a safe & prosperous year in 2011 as I leave you with a shot taken from our summer shoot (ft. cute ribbon top & shorts playsuit).
Drink plenty of water kids, & don't forget to look good.

Savanna Lace Pencil Dress

Another dress that I'm loving at the moment is this Savanna Lace Pencil Dress.Everyone knows that I'm a big fan of high waisted skirts and cute little dresses... so when this dress arrived the other day, I loved it straight away!
The Savanna Lace Pencil Dress is amazing! I love that it looks like a two piece... a lace top and a high waisted skirt - but it's actually a one piece. A dress that you can pretty much wear any where and anytime :)
It has cute soft butterfly sleeves and lace detail on the bust area which i think looks quite feminine and sweet. Perfect to wear when catching up with my girlfriends for lunch :) The white and the baby blue not only is easy to mix and match with accessories but also a cool color for summer.Beautiful Dress!

Strawberries & Cream Top Review

So I recently received my order for these cute Strawberries & Cream tops.
I love this top not just coz of the cute strawberry print, but also coz its a v-neck.Almost all my tops are v-necks and i love them so much!
V-necks are flattering and are pretty good with any body shape. A cute tee with a modest v-neck is perfect for day, and a deep v-neck looks great at night. Great for any occasion. (Just don't go too low)The Strawberries & Cream top has a frill and lace feature at the neck line, (which i would say is my favorite part of the top) and the cap sleeves also has a layer effect. I would wear this top with some skinny leg jeans, teaming it up with some cute tan heels. I could picture this worn on a sunday lunch, or even a lazy BBQ day, or even just to hangout and go shopping with. A very cute, relaxed and casual look.The only thing that i noticed about this top is that it's too short for me. I prefer my tops long because i like to roll them up a little bit when i wear them with jeans.

Overall, a cute casual top for summer :) It comes in blue and pink, so it depends on what you prefer. They both look really cute :)

Gorgeous Shoes!

So excited! Lilah is finally stocking shoes! I'm specially excited because it's so hard for me to find my size anywhere! I'm a size 5 (i know, i know) and sometimes a size 4 depending on what style or brand... so you can just imagine how much of an effort i have to make to find one!Well, not anymore! I'm glad to announce that from now, we are stocking shoes at Lilah :)
Beautiful, gorgeous, cute and elegant shoes! ( not to mention they are not so expensive and affordable!) Can't wait till my order comes in.Anyhow, weather you're a size 5 or a size 9, if you love sexy shoes, check out the shoes at Lilah.
